A wonderful experience awaits you as we leave the city and head into the countryside towards the magnificent Hottentots Holland, Helderberg and Simonsberg Mountains. The site of the vineyards with the background of these great mountains is simply awesome.

You will visit a number of beautiful wine estates, taste award winning wines, go walk around in the oak tree lined streets of the historic University town of Stellenbosch the second oldest town in South Africa and wine capital of the region.

Your tour then moves on through beautiful countryside to the quaint village of Franschhoek (corner of France) which nestles beneath the majestic Franschhoek mountains. The French Huguenots settled in this picturesque valley some three hundred years ago. It is perhaps as result of this French heritage that Franschhoek valley produces some of the country's finest wines and is recognized as the culinary capital of South Africa. The tour allows for the opportunity to taste some of the internationally acclaimed wines produced in the valley.
