This full day Private tour --- “ Cape Peninsula Classic” ---- takes you through some of the most spectacular scenery that Cape Town has to offer. -- The natural beauty of the Cape Peninsula is regarded by many as amongst the most magnificent scenery in the world.

Itinerary
  • This full day tour commences at 08h30. and takes in the following
  • District Six. -- historically significant from the Apartheid era.
  • University of Cape Town.
  • Rhodes Memorial -- We visit the memorial to Cecil John Rhodes, a former Governor of the Cape, and founder of De Beers Diamonds, where we go walk about and enjoy a photo opportunity.
  • Our tour takes us past Kirstenbosch, South Africa’s world renowned Botanical Gardens.
  • We visit Groot Constantia, at three hundred years old, the oldest wine estate in SA, where we go walk about and enjoy a photo opportunity.
  • Pollsmoor Prison. -- drive by the Prison where Nelson Mandela spent three years.
  • We stop along the very scenic Boyes Drive and soak in panoramic views of False Bay. – a wonderful photo opportunity.
  • Kalk Bay, we stop for a photo opportunity of this quaint small fishing harbour.
  • Fish Hoek, we enjoy the view of this scenic bay and drive through this small town.
  • Simonstown, we visit this historic naval town, and hear about some of its rich history.
  • At Seaforth, we stop for lunch at a restaurant located right on the beach.
  • After lunch we take a walk to visit the Penguins at Boulders beach - another photo opportunity.
  • We then head for the Cape of Good Hope Nature reserve, and Cape Point.
  • Travel by Funicular rail to the Lighthouse above Cape Point. – plenty of photo opportunities..
  • Go walk about at Cape Point soaking in the magnificent views on offer.
  • Visit the most South Westerly Point on the Continent of Africa.— another great photo opportunity.
  • Enjoy a photo opportunity at an Ostrich farm.
  • We take in the beautiful scenery along the coastal drive of Scarborough / Misty Cliffs
  • Kommetjie hill presents us with panoramic views of the small village and wonderful ocean vistas..
  • We travel along Chapman’s Peak drive – one of the world’s great scenic drives -- We stop for a photo opportunity. 
  • The village of Hout Bay and its fishing harbour present us with another wonderful photo opportunity.
  • At Llandudno, a scenic and small coastal village -- We stop for a photo opportunity
  • At Camps Bay, a popular coastal suburb nestling beneath the magnificent Twelve Apostles Mountain, we stop at Maidens Cove for a panoramic photo opportunity.
  • Signal Hill is our scenic Grand Finale -- we travel to the top of Signal Hill to enjoy absolutely magnificent panoramic views of the City. --- Signal Hill presents the visitor with exceptional photo opportunities of the City, of the Waterfront, of Robben Island, of Table Bay, of the Atlantic seaboard. suburbs of Sea Point, Green Point and of Blouberg across the bay -- not forgetting the wonderful views of the majestic and iconic Table Mountain – truly exceptional views and photo opportunities..
  • We also have a wonderful view of Cape Town’s new, World Cup Soccer stadium
  • We travel back to the City via the Atlantic seaboard suburbs of Clifton, Sea Point, Three Anchor Bay, Sea Point, and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
  • We return to base at around 17h30
