Overview

• Mostert Mill – a historic flour mill built in 1796.
• University of Cape Town
• A visit to the memorial to Cecil John Rhodes is our next stop. -- we soak in the panoramic views from the memorial -- a photo opportunity.
• We drive by Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens -- SA’s National Botanical Gardens.
• Our Tour takes us to through scenic Constantia to Groot Constantio, the oldest Wine Estate in South Africa, --   where we go walk about -- photo opportunity.
• As we travel to Muizenberg we pass Pollsmoor Prison, where Nelson Mandela once spent three years.
• Boyes Drive is our next stop – we take in the magnificent view of Muizenberg and miles and miles of white sandy beaches. -- photo opportunity.
• We travel along Boyes Drive soaking in the views of False Bay and the quaint fishing village and harbour of False Bay.
• Our Tour takes us through the seaside town of Fish Hoek and on to the historic, Naval town of Simonstown.
• We hear the wonderful story of Able Seaman Just Nuisance -- the true story of Great Dane Dog who joined the Royal Navy during World War2.-- photo opportunity
• Not too far away we visit the Penguins at Boulders Beach.   -- another photo opportunity.
• Red Hill above Simonstown provides us with a superb panoramic view of the town and of False Bay.
• We head for Noordhoek and the start of Chapmans Peak drive.
• Chapmans Peak drive is regarded as one of the most spectacular mountain / ocean drives in the World. – we stop a couple of times along this awesome drive for photos.
• We take in Hout Bay and its quaint, picturesque fishing harbour.
• Above the coastal suburb of Llandudno we stop for a photo opportunity and soak in the magnificent setting.
• Our route takes up along the coastal road beneath the Twelve Apostles Mountains, through the popular seaside suburb of Camps Bay
• We travel up Signal Hill and enjoy the awesome sight of the City, Table Bay, Robben Island,the Atlantic seaboard suburbs and spectacular Table Mountain.
• All too soon its time to head home   -- we travel the scenic route along the coastal route stopping at Maidens Cove for a final photo opportunity, then on through beachfront of the suburbs of Clifton, Bantry Bay, Sea Point, Mouille Point.
• All too soon its time to return to base.
