A visit to the top of the Table Mountain is via a very modern cable car system ( the floor of the cable car rotates three-sixty degrees, giving you an awesome view of Cape Town and surrounds as we travel to the top of the mountain ) --- On reaching the upper cableway station at the top of the mountain you are taken on a guided walk on the mountain to soak in wonderful panoramic views of Cape Town and surrounds.
The tour of historical Cape Town, is a drive through tour of the City, taking in a number of historical sites including Cape Town Convention Centre, the Foreshore and Adderley Street ( main street ) the Railway station, Castle of Good Hope a fort and the oldest building in South Africa, a drive through District Six recalling the horrors of the Apartheid era, the Grand Parade, the City Hall and the balcony from which Nelson Mandela addressed the nation immediately after his release from prison, having spent 27years behind bars, the Law Courts, Caledon Square Police Station, St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral, Parliament, the old Slave Lodge, St. Georges Anglican Cathedral, the” Company” Gardens, and Bo Kaap the Malay Quarter and many other sites which have historical significance.
You will also visit to the summit of Signal Hill to enjoy a more panoramic views of the City, Table Bay, Robben Island, Table Mountain and the Atlantic Seaboard Suburbs before we travel back to your accommodation via Camps Bay and the City.
